His skills include design, installation, implementation, support and migration. He has certifications from VMware and Microsoft as well as other vendors. He has successfully applied his expertise to Microsoft and Linux servers including Active Directory, DNS, redundancy (SRM, HA), backup, server implementation, upgrade, support and migration. He often works remotely to help lower the consulting costs to the customer. He enjoys learning and implementing the newest technologies. He also enjoys helping customers increase ROI using new technologies.He has spent over 35 years as an IT professional and entrepreneur. He has built, run and sold many businesses over the years. He also invests in real estate on the side based out of the Charlotte, NC area and is always looking for opportunities. He specializes in remote IT Consulting short or long term contracts that might have the potential for more.
David A Sellens has had many years of experience in the IT industry offering services inclusive of network engineering and managing information systems in addition to technical training and consultation to wide ranging clients. David is renowned for his training abilities, having taught Microsoft, Novell, and Cisco courses in Networking, Security, and Database Administration.David has provided consulting services on networking and security and performed network analysis and security audit projects to identify weaknesses with a view to recommending changes to the network infrastructure of client companies. David’s consulting commitments revolve around meeting clients’ objectives through employing technology, manpower and monetary resources to yield technically optimum and economically viable solutions.David has a compelling passion for cutting edge technology and the urge to share his broad knowledge through training sessions. He has been instrumental in training numerous students through to certification in various professional IT qualifications.
